Penny Farthing -RM 22,000.00

The Penny Farthing is also referred to as the 'High' or 'Ordinary' bicycle, and the first one was invented in 1871 by British engineer, James Starley. The Penny Farthing came after the development of the 'Hobbyhorse', and the French 'Velocipede' or 'Boneshaker', all versions of early bikes. However, the Penny Farthing was the first really efficient bicycle, consisting of a small rear wheel and large front wheel pivoting on a simple tubular frame with tires of rubber.
Although the trend was relatively short-lived, the penny-farthing bicycle has since become a prominent historical symbol of the late Victorian era.
I bought my 1st penny farthing 15 years ago in UK. When i bought this bicycle  it was fully restored professionally  by the owner and was used regularly in the possession on the Lord Majors Show in London.
It was a conversational  bicycle whenever friends drop by to visit my house. Due to space constraint, I have to store it away, But recently, I took it out of storage and give it a good clean-up and the bicycle now looks much better  with a little care and attention.
This bicycle can be ridden as it has been before but I personally have never try riding it .
The front wheel Measures 52" and the back wheel measures 18"
My interests for Rare antique bikes has grown and I have owned 5 of such Penny Farthing ever since. I have been approached by many collectors who are interested and I had sold some to fellow collectors
